Atria Senior Living
Atria is a foundation dedicated to improving on assisted living services. They make it their career to consistently improve on accommodations and professionalism. They were honored with a Platinum Award by the National Assisted Living Nurses Association for their undying effort and interest. Atria serves approximately 14,000 residents over 27 states. Atria is aligned with a Quality Assurance Plan. This is because Atria has specific standards in their community provisions. These standards include: requiring every facility to be accommodated with licensed nurses, appointing an independent Chief Quality Officer to ensure the facility is being run by the expected standards and reporting back to the Board of Directors, designing a comprehensive quality assurance tool which displays 350 questions that cover 740 of their requirements and is more in depth than state surveys, and conducting three day quality care reviews each year to analyze the quality of care at each facility and discuss any necessary changes. Atria takes initiative to provide their communities with the best professional staffing.
Atria also wants their employees to know how much their dedication is appreciated and has created an employee rewards program to help recognize their efforts. This program includes: Career Commitment Hourly Rewards which specifies to the employee an appreciation for their continual service. This is not a competitive category. It’s goal is simply reached by a means of compensation for those who have provided increased hours of service. Career Commitment Anniversary Gifts are also awarded when an employee has dedicated 10, 15, 20, and 25 years or more of service. Health Care Saving Rewards is also another incentive to the program. These rewards are complimentary to the continual increases in health care. Customer Satisfaction Rewards are primarily based on a customer’s satisfaction survey in respect to personnel. Quality Assurance Rewards are significant to an employee’s quality assurance evaluation.
While you may be thinking none of this is significant to your direct needs it is important to know the capabilities of those who will care for you and it’s reassuring to know that their dedication goes beyond that of a standard employee. Too often care is given by unqualified individuals in an atmosphere of duress. Residents of Atria communities never have to be bothered with these concerns.
Their concept for basic pricing structure allows for basic provisions to be included in the monthly rent. These provisions include dressing and personal appearance accommodations, bathing and showering if necessary, meals and snacks, medication reminders, and housekeeping and laundering. Services are assessed prior to the person taking residency. Quite often obtained fees are tax deductible.
Atria’s goal is simple, providing quality care in an environment that will make any seniors years of retirement nourishing. Their Engage Life Program provides residents with several activities to improve upon their quality of life. Directors personally get to know each resident and develop activities suited to each specific person. With the growing concern of elder care facilities and senior abuse Atria provides the assurance that senior care can be given in a safe, healthy, and caring environment.
